Captain Steve Davis spent over 45 years on the water as a passionate angler and highly successful fishing guide at Flaming Gorge Reservoir. For a decade as a guide, he developed his own secret arsenal of custom fishing lures—lures so effective that clients constantly begged him to sell them.

After years of refining and testing his proven "secret weapons," Captain Steve finally opened his tackle box to the public. With the help of his family, Flashy Fish Lures was born. Located in Saratoga Springs, Utah, we have proudly been selling Steve's handcrafted lures online for the past 10 years.

Why are Flashy Fish lures so effective? Traditional casting spoons are made with thicker, heavier metal. Flashy Fish trolling lures are made with thin metal spoons, providing a much enhanced side-to-side motion, giving the lure a more appealing fluttering action. Flashy Fish lures can be trolled right on the bottom with a downrigger or lead-core line and-because of their light weight-they just glide over the rocks and snags that other types of lures catch!
